• Professor of Ophthalmology, Cairo University.
• Doctorate of Ophthalmic Surgery, Cairo University. (Ph.D.)
• Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh (FRCS.Ed)
• Fellow of Instituto Oftalmologico de Alicante, Spain.
• Member of European Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ESCRS)

Treatments:

• LASIK surgeries for Myopia, Hyperopia and Astigmatism
• Femtosecond LASIK (without microkeratome blade)
• Surface ablation surgeries (Epi-LASIK & PRK) for thin & corneas
• LASIK Xtra (simultaneous LASIK & cornel cross linking for high myopia and thin corneas
• PTK for superficial corneal scarring & recurrent corneal erosions
• Cornel Cross Linking (CXL) for stabilization of early cases of keratoconus
• Intra-Corneal Rings, ICR (Keraring & INTACS) for moderate cases of keratoconus
• Penetrating Keratoplasty (PKP) for deep corneal scarring & advanced cases of keratoconus
• Phakic IOLs & Phaco-Refractive Lens Exchange (PRELEX) for high myopia and cases unsuitable for LASIK
